Although I work mostly through a digital process, I sometimes get my hands dirty with acrylics, rust, oil pastels and paper. The same goes with subjects and inspiration. Here is a selection of works in various medium or styles that are not in my usual line of work. Some are available as prints, some remain just as parts of my private collection.
This picture was started and mostly completed in one session during a nightshift in a printing plant.
Torn magazines, Letraset, offset ink and acrylic paint on unspecified heavy stock. Some touches of car retouching paint. Personal collection. 70x50cm. Not for sale.
Steppe. Oil pastels on Canson art board. 50x40cm. Preliminary sketch for a final acrylic work.
Boschian. I cannot recall how this got started and any attempt to rebuild it just failed. It seems like all the Lovecraft influences emerged in one go in this picture.
Available as fine art print, 50x50cm.
Boschian (detail)
The Hounds of Tindalos. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's tales, this picture also emerged somehow independently of my will. The face emerged out of angular, geometric planes, exactly like in the novel.
Available as fine art print, 50x750cm.
A variation on the Hounds of Tindalos, this version is at the present moment not available for sale.
